Carin Snell, MA, LAMFT

Journey Of Hope Therapy LLC

Hi! My name is Carin Snell, being a therapist and helping others through difficult life circumstances has been my life’s dream. I love working with families, children, and couples.

I am a licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist here at Northwest Family Counseling and am pursuing full state licensure as a professional counselor. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry with a counseling emphasis from Nazarene Bible College and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, and those who struggle with self-esteem. I am also highly interested in trauma work and I am currently taking courses to become more specialized in this area.

I have been married for 26 years and together with my husband have raised five wonderful children. Marriage and raising children allowed me to live through and see many of life’s triumphs and difficulties over the years, experiences I would not trade for anything. These experiences allow me to bring many insights into my professional life.

I believe there is hope for every person and every situation. With proper guidance and faith, I think anything is possible!

I am currently under supervision by Dan Schmoyer, MA, LPCC for full licensure (LPCC).

Carin is an independent contractor at NWFC and is the owner of Journey of Hope Therapy, LLC.
