My name is Jaressa Johnson, and I desire to see individuals, couples, and families experience healing, restoration, and peace. I believe that relationships are dynamic and ever changing and I aspire to support and foster a healing environment; an environment where individuals, couples, and families can be strengthened through growing and nurturing ever-deepening levels of mutual commitment, grace, empowerment and intimacy.
I have experience addressing issues such as, high-risk adolescent behaviors, trauma, marriage/relationship and family issues, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, behavioral and emotional disorders. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I provide each client with unconditional positive regard and use a collaborative approach in therapy.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Ministry from the University of Northwestern, St. Paul, MN. I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA. I provide service under the supervision of Dan Schmoyer, MA, M.Ed, LSC, LPCC.
