Hello, my name is Colette Peterick and I believe every individual is inherently valuable and uniquely made. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, welcoming, and affirming space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I strive to build a strong therapeutic relationship as the foundation for healing and growth.
My approach is collaborative and holistic. I work alongside clients to foster self-esteem, cultivate mindfulness and intentional living, manage symptoms of anxiety and depression, navigate grief, build effective coping strategies, strengthen interpersonal relationships, and enhance overall life satisfaction. I consider the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and explore the many factors that may contribute to distress or imbalance. I believe that even in the midst of life’s challenges, growth, healing, and joy are possible. It is a true privilege to walk with others on their journey toward peace and personal fulfillment.
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, daughter, and our three cats. I’m a fan of Doctor Who, love playing board games, and enjoy the sport of archery.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from Liberty University. I am currently working toward independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Minnesota and provide therapy services under the supervision of Mark Schmoyer, MS, LPCC.
